Relais Capo Spulico - Beach & SPA

Relais Capo Spulico, an experience to forget. We stayed in this hotel (it is not a relais and it is not a 4 *), almost a week, from the 13th to the 19th. I'm writing almost because we chose to leave a day early, given the terrible stay. The "strong" points of the village: the location: panoramic and beautiful. The entertainment, with really hardworking and nice guys who went out of their way the whole time. The girl at the spa (Rosa), really cute and very helpful. The swimming pool, large and very beautiful. The sore points are: the food (worse than a canteen), I wonder how it is possible to serve meals like this! Lots of choice, non-existent quality. The structure, with a lot of potential, is very poorly maintained: sofas on the terrace dirty and broken, sunbeds by the pool ditto, bedroom with connecting door (you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the room next door), no floor in the bathroom to place things on ,etc... In short, a real disaster. I strongly advise against it.

Hello everyone, we have just returned from a wonderful holiday 13/20 August and I want to say that we had a really good time. We were together with other friends and relatives who were all satisfied. Before leaving we had read some negative reviews and were even afraid of going there when in fact we had a great time. Let's start with the owner and all the reception staff ALL SUPER FRIENDLY AND AVAILABLE, same thing for the restaurant and bar staff. Fantastic OPV entertainers, very polite, helpful, engaging and never oppressive led by the super boss ZIO MAX with top quality games and shows. Uncle Max also deserves credit for giving the animators the right space to have fun while they work. Acceptable catering and breakfast for being in a village, generous portions and without limits. The sea is not far away but you definitely need the shuttle which works quite well anyway. The only slightly negative note for those who are not used to it is the beach made of very large stones but on the other hand there is a wonderful sea. Very large and spacious swimming pool with the bar directly inside. In any case, it is one of the villages that deserves 4 stars for what it offers, for its availability in solving any problems and in general for everything and with a few maintenance measures it can improve even more. Also suitable for "special" people to whom they rightly offer greater assistance without making them feel any discomfort. The mid-August buffet was something exceptional with dishes from the appetizer to the final dessert, with freshly prepared products and then afterwards you could still go and eat at the restaurant further. It is a village suitable for the whole family: adults, babies and teenagers. However, don't expect anything from the town and the seafront because in Roseto there is nothing beyond the village. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

This is the fifth year (definitely the last) that I have chosen this property to spend the holidays with my family, reluctantly I had to change my previous review! I want to start by saying that the price paid compared to previous years has increased by around 30%, and that I avoid leaving bad reviews because I am respectful of other people's work, and a problem can happen, the fact is there have been too many problems ... Non-existent reception compared to previous years! Not even a glass of water and no one who accompanied us to the room. 1) the room was reasonably clean, but the curtain in the bathroom was full of mold and the balcony was full of pigeon droppings, it could have been avoided! In August, you know you have to receive guests, and you can't find a room in this state. The reception replies that they had no other rooms! Huge lie the resort wasn't full! I didn't want to cause controversy and ruin my holiday. 2) the general conditions of the village in my opinion very neglected compared to previous years. 3) head of entertainment who continued to show off his thirty years of experience, but in my opinion very incompetent, jokes and attitudes repetitive and not compatible with his age, (banal entertainment compared to previous years) the rest of the entertainment guys were all kind, polite and available as always. 4) the worst thing was the food, terrible and of low quality, especially the appetizers and desserts offered, I had problems digesting what I ate, a bit like the rest of the guests of the week, and there was no shortage of controversy on the part of guests. The very serious thing was that with great tranquility and in full view of everyone, the things left on the plates by the guests (who obviously preferred not to eat them after having tasted them) were put back into the buffet. This was reported to maitre Hassan, to his great amazement, but nothing changed in the following days... I'll stop here, everything in general was terrible, the best day was the day of departure. NEVER AGAIN!!! Thanks for ruining our holidays.

I was with my family in this village from 2nd to 9th July. Overall the holiday went quite well, for the price paid I must say that you couldn't ask for more. The reception on Sunday afternoon 2 July was excellent, the reception staff were very kind, the room was ready before 5pm as indicated in the voucher. The entertainment team is made up of good, well-mannered and good kids, completed by a nice artistic group, if I can give a very small piece of advice to the kids in the mini club... you have to have more control over the little ones because they are unpredictable, often you didn't know how many and which children you had... instead I would like to say two things to the village chief, Uncle Max" Max, next time there is a bullfight and someone decides to make jokes, get them to tell you the topic because the one about the lion was in very poor taste, especially because the presence of little ones in the audience then brings a parent to hear certain things that you then have to explain to a child and the second if they are amateurs at risk a person who was very evidently very familiar with singing cannot win the bullfight" for the rest really good. The room is led in every way by the excellent Hassan who ensures that many problems are hidden by his excellent work and his staff. The cuisine makes leaps and bounds for the raw materials it has... the Calabrian evening was excellent and the aperitif was also on Friday, the desserts were also good. The structure requires continuous maintenance which in some places lacks too many non-compliant extension cords around the structure especially on the terrace. The rooms, although small, are functional but dark inside and clean. The shuttle service was excellent. At the swimming pool I would tell the director to change the lifeguard, he doesn't do his duty well and spends too much time with some girls. Beach and lido, I would say excellent in everything The lifeguard at the pool, on the other hand, was very attentive whenever anything was needed and was ready to help, really good, the restaurant is excellent for what it offers, the bar is well equipped throughout and makes the best coffee in the hotel...well done the bartender. For the rest, certain behaviors of the people who stayed are not the fault of those who manage but given by our behaviors and ways of doing things, if at the end of the evening you sit on a sofa that does not bear your name and you get up to go dancing you cannot expect that upon returning it will be empty....unfortunately education is not for everyone. For anyone who wants to go I recommend it but don't expect the services and comfort that go from a 4 star to a 3 star at most.

I spent a week with my daughters between August 6th and 13th. The village is beautiful, well kept and in a panoramic position with respect to the sea. The shuttle service is excellent. Two comfortable buses with friendly and professional people. The strong points of the village are two, let's say the excellences because overall everything is truly perfect: the cuisine, masterfully followed by the attentive waitress Assan. Nothing escapes him, always ready to intervene whenever the need arises. Never seen such a professional in many years of villages. I don't praise his friendliness because you wouldn't believe me. You just have to know it. Another highlight of the village is the entertainment. Many times in villages animators stand out because they are the best ones, the ones who stand out. Everyone here is good, from the village head, Uncle Max, to all the staff members. Evening shows of the to be called such. Not the usual improvised or prepared things that turned out badly. Here we talk about real shows, not inappropriately written with a capital letter. The only flaw about this village is that it makes time pass too quickly and the holiday flies by.
